GROUP INFO

Well as you can see from the updated calendar we have been very busy planning upcoming activities for the group. Be sure to check back often as we will be adding more !

On our Calendar page you can click show ALL events and it will give you an overview of the dates we have activities scheduled.

Please pass the word on to anyone you know that homeschools/unschools or is thinking about starting to. We have a lot of experience within our group and would love to see more join the fun!

Several have asked about membership fees? We do not have any membership fees. We do have group T-shirts that have the homepage Logo on them for $6 for those who would like to wear them during group trips, but no one is required to buy them. If you would like to order T's just email your size info. to :     l.i.f.e._in_tennessee@hotmail.com

If anyone has a suggestion for our monthly park/play-day please email. Also don't forget to sign-up on the yahoo group page that will allow you to get automatic group email updates w/o having to remember to check the website as often. It is very handy for busy people.

Question

"L.I.F.E. Pals" There have been several families inquiring about children in the same age range as their own in order to find new friends. If your family would like to buddy up for e-pals, snail-mail pals, activity pals, or study pals then please add your info as it apply's to your family on the poll. This is being created as a support service for the children of our group in efforts to jump-start new friendships not to limit them:)

  • This group is now signed up to turn in Box Tops to earn money for educational expenses!
    Here's how it will work:
Save them up until the Valentine's Party.  We'll collect the Box Tops and send them in. Each family receives the cash for the number of box tops they have saved once the check is received.  The cash then can help cover field trips, YMCA, curriculum, other educational expenses.  Families can use the money for whichever educational expense they need/want to put it toward.
The more you save and/or the more you get family, friends, church members, other people to save for you - the more you get from it.
Each box top is worth 10 cents!  Box Tops can be found on a ton of products including cereal, snacks, frozen foods, diapers, tissue and more.  For a complete list of products reply to this message and I can send you one.
A good place to hold your Box Tops is to place a magnet in a zip loack bag and leave it hanging open on the fridge!  It's always in site and easy to drop them in!

As always if you have any questions or suggestions please feel free to email me,

Marie Bizzell
